OPPO has announced the K9s, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 90.0% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA.
It has Multi-dimensional composite liquid cooling system that uses graphite sheets up to 0.15mm thick for the first time, and the coverage area is increased by about 50% for a faster heat dissipation. Seven kinds of high thermal conductivity materials are used to dissipate heat, and has 100% coverage of core heat source that can bring down the core temperature by 15°C, says the company.
The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, X-axis linear motor, 4D vibrations and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It features a 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It packs a 5000mAh with 30W fast charging that offers 100% charge in 59 minutes.

The OPPO K9 Pro 5G comes in Obsidian Black, Neon Sliver and Magic Purple colours and is priced at 1699 yuan (US$ 265 / Rs. 19,905 approx.) for the 6GB + 128GB version and the 8GB + 128GB version costs 1899 yuan (US$ 297 / Rs. 22,250 approx.). These are available to order from today and will go on sale in China from November 1st. It will get 200 yuan discount for the first sale.
