Home Immunity Booster

Here are some of the Ayurvedic herbs

1. Cinnamon

Cinnamon (dalchini) as we know it, is a popular and widely used spice, and for good reason! It acts as an immune stimulator, one that helps one fight off flu and colds. It also slows down any inflammatory substances which play a vital role in the way your immune system responds to harmful outside invaders (virus, germs, bacteria etc)

2. Neem

Neem helps boost immunity by defending the body against infections and helps maintain the overall health of the body because of its antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is also a blood purifier. Regular consumption of an ayurvedic herb like neem can stave off high fever, malaria, dengue, and other viral flu.

3. Clove

Clove is a flavorful spice that contains Eugenol, a compound that has anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties to ward off infections.

Another major beneficial factor is its ability to treat colds as it is a high expectorant, and expel mucus, and decreases inflammation. It also helps soothe the throat by reducing coughing fits. Something that is a prominent symptom of Covid 19.

4. Spearmint

There is nothing cooler than spearmint (pun-intended) fighting off those bacterial diseases! Yes, with its potent antibacterial properties, it prevents cell damage against free radicals and is a powerhouse when it comes to maintaining optimal health.

5. Sweet Orange

We all know the immune-boosting power of Vitamin C. Sweet Orange is highly abundant in this nutrient. It helps improve the body’s immune system against microbes such as bacteria and fungi.

Remember!

1. eat breakfast daily (energy boost from dawn),
2. eat regularly,
3. drink only water between meals,
4. eat several portions of vegetables and fruits (preferably from organic farming),
5. avoid highly processed products ( junk food, sweets, trans fats),
6. eat at least one meal with family or friends!

Worlds Strongest Man 2020

Ukraine's Oleksii Novikov wins 2020 World's Strongest Man after 1,185-pound partial deadlift The COVID-19 pandemic delayed this year's preeminent strongman competition by six months, but it didn't stop a new World's Strongest Man from being crowned.

Oleksii Novikov of Ukraine earned the title for the first time Sunday in just his second year of competition, breaking the world record in the partial deadlift en route to a victory at the 2020 World's Strongest Man competition in Bradenton, Florida. Novikov, 24, is the youngest person to win the event since 1984 and just the second winner from Ukraine. "It's unbelievable," Novikov told USA TODAY Sports on Sunday evening, with the assistance of translator Roman Hidan. "You must feel this, and you understand then. I can't explain this emotion." Novikov is a relative newcomer to World's Strongest Man, and he was also among this year's smallest competitors. Though "small," of course, is a relative term; Novikov is listed at 6 feet 1 and 298 pounds.
